Buick Introduces the Compact Verano

Meet the newest member of the Buick family: the 2012 Buick Verano. It's not what you're used to seeing from Buick, but it will impress you with its impressively designed exterior, luxurious interior, and all of the thoughtful touches you've come to expect from Buick. One important thing though - this is one of the smallest cars we've ever seen from Buick.
Small is a matter of comparison though, it still features plenty of legroom and trunk space, and as Buick says, this is their "thoughtful take on luxury."1 That's right, the compact sedan is the company's way to get people to rethink the way they look at luxury. And, as far as Bayer Motor Company is concerned, what they've done with the Verano is nothing short of impressive.
Built on the Opel platform, the Verano is a bit smaller than the Buick Regal, but is bigger than the Civic or the Cruze. MSRP also settles right between these two classes, starting at just $23,470. And it's loaded with features: infotainment, bright lights, best-in-class comfort, optional leather trim, push-button start, remote start, and heated leather seats.
Underneath the hood of the Verano, drivers will find a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The direct-injection power plant averages about 25 mpg (21 city/32 highway), and pumps out about 170 ponies of power.
So far, the Verano has received rave reviews. According to reviewers over at Autoblog.com, "The new Verano is a remarkable entry-level luxury effort. Its long list of standard features and upscale cabin make other compacts in this bracket look cheap and overvalued...the 2012 Buick Verano makes a pretty compelling argument for itself."1
The all new Buick Verano is headed for dealers like Bayer Motor Company shortly. Stay tuned with us for news and updates from Buick. Contact us today to arrange a test drive, or stop in later this year at 218 E Grand Comanche, TX 76442 to see it for yourself.
