GMC Acadia Updates Set to Debut in Chicago

For six years, the GMC Acadia has remained one of the most popular models in the GMC lineup, impressing people with its luxurious interior, cargo space, powerful handling, and impressive suite of available technology. With only minor tweaks and adjustments, the Acadia has aged well since it first launched in 2006. We've been expecting a major overhaul from the automaker - but why fix something that's not broken?
That's exactly what GMC is saying. They've announced a refreshed version for 2013, set to debut at the Chicago Auto Show this week. Not much is known about it - in fact, we're not even sure if a Denali variant will make an appearance as well. What we do know is that this is a mid-cycle update, not a complete overhaul, and an updated interior is on tap, as well as a few tweaks to the exterior.
No matter what GMC does to the Acadia, you can be sure that the 2013 model will feature all of the impressive features you've come to love about the CUV. With a choice between front-wheel and all-wheel drive, room for up to eight passengers, a 3.6-liter V6, six-speed automatic transmission, and a towing capacity of up to 5,200 pounds, the Acadia is as versatile and powerful as it's always been.
The updated model isn't set to roll into Bayer Motor Company until later this year. In the meantime, we invite you to stop into our showroom at 218 E Grand Comanche, TX 76442 to take one of the 2012 GMC Acadia models for a spin. Like we said, it's one of our favorite models in the lineup, and we're sure you'll find it's roomy interior and comfort features to be the best in it's class.
