GMC Acadia and Terrain: Worth Every Penny

There are a lot of important questions to ask when you're shopping for a new car. Upon immediate inspection, you'll know if it's a style that appeals to you, if there's enough room in it, and even if your family will like it. After a spin around the block, you'll know if you like driving it, if it has all of the tech features you're looking for, and if it's comfortable. If you dig further, you'll learn about its safety ratings, its gas-mileage, and most important, how much you'll pay for it. One difficult thing to know as your sitting at your local dealership, is if the car you're about to spend a pretty penny on will be worth anything in a couple years when you're thinking about trading up.
But thanks to buyer guides like ALG and Consumers Digest, you can figure that out before you even step into the dealership. And this year, they'll give you some pretty solid reasons to stop into Bayer Motor Company to check out the 2012 GMC Acadia and the 2012 Terrain. Both vehicles received awards this year, recognizing them for their initial and residual values.
As a matter of fact, ALG honored the GMC Acadia with their "2012 Residual Value Award" in the full-size utility vehicle segment. Based on residual values and depreciation data, the award indicates that the Acadia will be worth a higher percentage of its original sales price than any other current-model full-size utility vehicle after three years of ownership. ALG spokesman Raj Sundaram says, "Acadia stands out from the competition by combining features that you would expect from a luxury brand with rugged styling, a roomy interior and a fuel-efficient V6 engine."1
As for those "Best Buy" Awards from Consumers Digest, the GMC Acadia was one of five Midsize SUVs on the list and the GMC Terrain was one of four Compact SUVs on the list. Awards are based on driving assessments, safety ratings, ownership costs, warranty, price, comfort, styling and features. All thirty-five vehicles on the list reflect which vehicles offer buyers the best value for their money. Needless to say, we're pretty proud to see two GMC models on the list.
What does GMC think of these awards? Brian Sweeney, U.S. VP, GMC Sales & Service says, "These accolades from ALG and Consumers Digest verify what many of our customers already know - the GMC's Professional Grade vehicles continue to deliver great value."2
Here at Bayer Motor Company, we couldn't agree more. If you don't already know what it's like to drive a GMC, we invite you to stop in and check out the new GMC lineup to see why it continues to collect industry awards. You'll find our showroom at 218 E Grand Comanche, TX 76442, and we're always happy to help you find the vehicle that suits all of your needs.
